I attend the Staff Retreat at this elementary school every year. They’ve always been quite creative in the activities they include to motivate their staff. For example, in 2019 we were on a scavenger hunt around the city, driving and taking pictures at many landmarks. 2020 was different. It was remote. I attended the retreat by zoom. I drew the conversation from the group in real time. We stopped at a variety of intervals to debrief the drawing. The remote experience was exciting and effective. They distributed copies electronically, and the original will hang in the school when there are staff there to see it!
