This project is targeted to citizens in the City and County of Denver. They need to reach their broad audiences of both English speaking and Spanish speaking populations. I created the English graphic recording map from a series of webinars. The English was translated to Spanish, and I duplicated the map into Spanish. Originally I thought this would be so easy. The challenges are that English phrases tend to generate very long and wordy Spanish translations. Some English phrases don’t make any sense in Spanish, so the translation becomes a description.
